The Geometry of Experience

Charles Sparks + Company created a retail space within the complex configurations of the Contemporary Jewish Museum designed by the renowned architect Daniel Libeskind.

It is a highly kinetic space where the convergence of walls creates focal points leading the visitor to specific areas. No two walls are parallel, floors and ceilings are not parallel and no walls are perpendicular to the floor.

The play of light and angles creates a dramatic open space and while there is an emphasis on the Jewish experience, the overall subtext is one of openness and accessibility to all. This space is powerful and transformative, an environment that moves beyond traditional retail configurations.
